Kanye West Defending what many considered a “garbage bag” clothing show as the Yeezy Gap line hit stores across the country.
Yi appeared on Fox News Thursday in a quick interview from Gap in Times Square. When asked if he understands why some have criticized clothing displays as being insensitive to the homeless, Kanye said, “I’m a creator, and I’m not here to sit down and apologize for my thoughts. And that’s exactly what the media is trying to do: Make us apologize for any idea that doesn’t fall under the way it does.” They want us to think of her.”
If you haven’t seen them, the clothes will be shown in big bags for customers to search and find their sizes, and many have compared the bags to trash bags.
During the interview, Yi pointed out that the bags were not garbage bags, they were large construction bags.
He says, “This is not a joke, this is not a game, this is not just a collaboration between celebrities… This is my life. I am fighting for a position to be able to change clothes and give people the best design.”
Regardless of what people may think of the displays, the clothing is still widely popular, and is sold at multiple locations.
