Leaked images of the Google Pixel 8 Pro prototype – Google

As can be seen from the images, the back of the device follows Google’s signature “design language” with the horizontal metal strip “stretching” across the width of the back to house the camera system and rumored Body temperature sensor with “TEST/EVALUATION ONLY” label. In another we read “Zuma – B1”, possibly the codename for the Google Tensor G3 SoC. From the screen in between and the Fastboot mode we can also see that it has 12GB LPDDR5 DRAM made by Samsung, 128GB storage by SKHynix while we can also see the name “husky” which previously heard It’s the codename for the Pixel 8 Pro.

The upcoming Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature a very capable imaging and video recording system with the main camera based on a 50MP Samsung sensor that captures 50% more light than other solutions and an ultra wide angle based on Sony’s 64MP resolution. As far as we can also see, the rumor that unlike the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro it will have a flat screen (it doesn’t curve at its edges) is accurate. According to rumors, the screen is an OLED with a diagonal of 6.7 inches and supports a resolution of 2,992 x 1,344 pixels (490ppi), a brightness of up to 1,600 nits (peak) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The battery is also said to have a capacity of 5,000mAh (about the same capacity as the Pixel 7 Pro) and will support 27W fast charging.

In a series of posts on Reddit, user “annoyingtoread” said that he “received the device from the Google team to test.” At the time, some people responded that he should have created a temporary second account to post pictures and not the normal account that posts pictures showing his face. Then the user who posted the photos on Reddit deleted their account.
