Singer Lisita Nicolaou has died

The beloved artist with a huge career in Greek singing had a serious accident a few days ago, which confined her to the ICU bed. A few days later, she succumbed to her injuries, and took her last breaths in a private hospital.

On the morning of Monday, August 14, her funeral was held at the Pale Valero Cemetery. Relatives, friends and colleagues were at the cemetery to see off the singer at her last home.

Her only son, Alexandros Liannis, is a tragic figure, unbelievable that he lost his mother so quickly and unjustly. The funeral was also attended by her ex-husband and journalist, Giorgos Liannis, who was married to Lisita Nikolaou from 1978 to 1983.
