PAOK
PAOK will have a significant absence in the match against Panaetokos (12/11, 17:30), but with the support of its fans it wants to get the three points and stay close to the top.
PAOK concludes its obligations in this round of matches, from one interruption of the tournament to another, by facing Panayetolikos in Toumba ((11/12, 17:30, Novasports Prime, Live from Sport 24).
The double header comes after a huge derby win over Olympiacos in the league and a draw with Aberdeen in Europe which came after a good performance that saw them qualify for the next round of the Conference League.
It is logical that Razvan Lucescu’s team would want to continue its good performances and stay close to the top of the standings by achieving victory.
The Romanian coach, apart from the long-term absentees Marcos Antonio and Felipe Soares, does not have the suspended Rahman Baba and Tyson at his disposal, and prefers to leave Konstantinos Koulerakis out of the task.
Which initially means that in another match there will be many changes in his defensive line as well. So, logically, both ends of the back four will be covered by Sastre and Rafa Soares, while one of Nasborg and Michaelides will compete in place of Koulerakis.
Logically, Ekong will keep his place among the goalkeepers unless the Dykvalo coach decides to line up his team with a completely different back four in front of Kotarski.
In midfield, the twins’ strategy will continue with Mete and Ozdoev involved in the competition. Samatta, who scored in the match against Aberdeen, will play at the top of the attack and behind him, in the absence of Tyson, Zivkovic and Despodov, while Thomas Morge may start instead of Constantilia.
The match against Panaytolkos will not be easy considering that Dykefalos will be competing without their best duo on the left wing. Bubba and Tyson cause a lot of problems for opposing defenses and play an important role in the development and offensive function of their team.
On the other hand, the management’s decision to set low prices for tickets for today’s match will attract more people to Tomba and PAOK will compete with the strong support of its fans.
