Dortmund has not achieved a win since November 28 and the double at San Siro, as it tied 1-1 with Mainz in Westphalia this time and remains in fifth place.
Dortmund couldn’t get back on track against Mainz either, drawing 1-1 at Signal Iduna Park in Round 16 of the Bundesliga.

Mainz equalized in stoppage time with a header from Van den Berg in the 43rd minute. In the second half, the Westphalian team’s performance declined and they failed to achieve victory in the end, leaving them for the sixth consecutive match (in all competitions) away from victories.
Dortmund raised its score to 27 points, while Mainz is in the last group with ten points.
