Matthew McConaughey thinks Woody Harrelson is his half-brother

Matthew McConaughey thinks Woody Harrelson is his half-brother

Matthew McConaughey’s interview on the podcast “Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa” set fires in Hollywood. The successful actor claimed that he and co-star Woody Harrelson could be half-siblings.

In fact, he revealed that this theory, in addition to the close relationship they have built, is also accepted by their families.

“My kids call him Uncle Woody, and his kids call me Uncle Matthew. His family sees so many pictures of him they think it’s me,” McConaughey says on the podcast, according to CNN.

In fact, he revealed that while they were in Greece a few years ago, McConaughey’s mother revealed to them that she knew Woody’s father. The well-known actor believed that their parents had more than simple acquaintance. While he went on to say that by putting some elements together, they discovered that a theory could eventually lead to the truth.

In conclusion, Matthew McConaughey explained that the process of DNA testing for him is much more difficult for him, as it would mean that he was raised in a lie, because the father he met would not be real.

The two appear in the AppleTV series “Brother from Another Mother,” a fictionalized depiction of their friendship, and also co-star in what many consider to be the best True Detective crime series.
