Melina Aslanidou spoke to “MEGA Kalimera” about her collaboration with Vassilis Karas.
Hearts were broken during the popular pilgrimage for Vassilis Karas, who passed away on Christmas Eve at the age of 70.
Crowds of people, ordinary citizens from all over Greece but also from abroad, politicians, artists and friends rushed to the Holy Sophia Church of God in Thessaloniki, to say the “last cheer” to the “master” of the path Vassilis Karas.
With flowers in their hands and teary eyes, they all bid farewell to the great folk singer and had nothing but kind words for him.
“Vassilis was a cold person.”
Melina Aslanidou spoke to “MEGA Good Morning” about her collaboration with Vassilis Karas.
“Vassilis is a wonderful person, a giving person, very noble, with a wonderful sense of humour. For us in Thessaloniki, he was our master, our capsule, our feasts, our everything. And when I got to know him personally, what I experienced was wonderful. For us, he was our man,” He said at first.
“I will remember his last remark when I called him to tell me how he was. He had an amazing sense of humor until the last moment he was fighting. He had courage, and Vassilis was a wonderful man. He reminds me of Zambita, Zambita was like that. He was another generation of people. He calls me 'baby' and many other things that I can't say.'' The singer continued with his heartfelt condolences to his family.
