Mike James's decisive hat-trick set off Monaco's brilliant double in Istanbul and Wilbekin's missed attempt to send Fenerbahce to the Final Four at the last minute.
Monaco stormed Ulker's gym and left Istanbul with a stunning double over Fenerbahce. Monaco's national team “appeared” in the fourth period of the match and Mike James signed the big victory for Saša Obradovic's team.
The American goalkeeper cooperated with Jordan Lloyd and hit a perfect three-pointer, defeating Goodrich in the confrontation with a score of 61-57, one minute before the end of the match.
With the score 63-62 in favor of the visitors and possession in the hands of James – who was called upon to return the ball on the ground from the touchline – the experienced regional player was fouled for 5 seconds and the ball returned to the Turks with 18″ to spare.
Wilbekin took charge of Fener's final attack to lead Jasikevicius' side to the Final Four, but he was unlucky as his shot went wide, sending the series to Game 5 in Monte Carlo (5/8, 8 p.m.).
