The upcoming product is a portable gaming device featuring a gamepad and emblazoned with the “True Gaming” logo, which is set to be part of MSI's latest gaming product range. The company is showing off its new system for the first time on social media, referring to it as “the new generation of MSI Dragon.” This dragon will appear on the MSI Gaming logo, which will be placed on the back of the device, as shown in one of the images published by MSI.
While MSI has yet to reveal specific details about the new laptop, it will almost certainly be powered by Intel's latest Core Ultra 100 series and not AMD's Ryzen Z1 SoC that we see in other portable gaming consoles. The reason is Intel's move to… Answer In MSI's announcement, which indicates that the MSI creation will be the first to be based on the Core Ultra 100H Arc.
MSI's laptop is poised to enter the competitive arena, potentially challenging the likes of the ASUS ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion GO, which feature the Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU. It will also be interesting if other brands consider entering the competition against Steam Deck, which is targeting a more affordable segment.
