Murder in Thessaloniki: Weapon used by 45-year-old Albanian to hang 50-year-old missing

A 45-year-old Albanian shot and killed a 50-year-old Albanian man in the middle of the road in Analypsi, Thessaloniki, unaccounted for.

However, investigations to locate him are ongoing.

Personal differences between the offender and the victim have been found to be the reason behind the crime.

Apologizing to the police, he denied the allegation, saying he was ready to point out where he had thrown the crime weapon, which has not yet been produced.

At the same time, he had said that he had abandoned the car he was driving in Galives, Halkidiki.

Forensic report

An autopsy revealed a gunshot wound to the left shoulder girdle of the victim, resulting in a fractured 5th rib on the left side and damage to the upper and lower lobes of the left lung. A gun cartridge was extracted from the spine.

From the first moment, the policemen put the accused’s houses in Thessaloniki and Halkidiki under surveillance, while investigations were carried out, but there was no accused or any evidence.

Police officer D.A. Balijiro found the accused’s vehicle parked on the beach road in Udiya, while the accused surrendered to the authorities.

The 45-year-old is recalled to have requested and received a deadline to apologize before the 6th regular investigator of Thessaloniki.
