A mixed jury found the 45-year-old accused in the murder of Argolio Mylopotamos guilty of all counts, without any mitigating factors.
According to information from Neakriti.gr, defense lawyers demanded that his previous honest life be recognized and that his behavior was caused by inappropriate behavior of the victim.

On the propositions of the defense counsels, the District Collector said that in regard to cohabitation, the accused was armed and his entire conduct was inconsistent with the concept of cohabitation. As for the victim’s misconduct, the prosecutor said his conduct fell under what he called frivolous occasion and recommended that it be dismissed.
Earlier, the 45-year-old said he did not want to kill the victim but threatened him because of his provocative behavior and the insults he unleashed against his family.
The lawyer denied the allegation of boiling over and insisted that it was clear that fraud had taken place.
