New Deadpool-Inspired Xbox Controller Is On Display – Xbox

Microsoft is introducing an unusual Xbox controller inspired by the upcoming movie “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

This special model features a special design that references the back of Deadpool’s body, including the character’s buttocks.

The front of the controller largely retains the classic look of the red Xbox controller, with the addition of a textured surface. The grips, which mimic Deadpool’s legs, are equipped with straps. However, it’s the back of the controller that catches the eye, as it depicts the character’s buttocks in 3D.
The practicality of this design raises questions. It is unclear whether adding 3D elements to the back will affect the usability of the controller or whether it will provide a more comfortable user experience due to the central recess.

The console won’t be available for sale to the general public. Instead, Microsoft is running a contest called the “Xbox Cheeky Controller Sweepstakes.” Entrants must be 18+, follow the Xbox account on X (formerly Twitter) and retweet the relevant post. The contest runs from July 17 to August 11.
Alongside the console, Microsoft is also offering a special edition Deadpool-inspired Xbox Series X controller. The controller features the character’s katana on the back, while the front features a close-up of Deadpool’s groin area, perfectly in keeping with the character’s humorous style.

Additionally, Microsoft is offering fans another chance. Those who purchase an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller 2 on July 22 will have the chance to win an exclusive console stand designed to depict Deadpool’s upper body.

Of course, Microsoft’s initiatives are part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming “Deadpool & Wolverine” movie, which aims to create collectibles for fans of the series.
