Development Minister Kostas Skrikas imposed a total fine of €1 million on one of the companies, the audit of which was completed by the Inter-Agency Market Monitoring Unit (DIMEA).
The fine relates to violating Article 54 of Law No. 5045/29-07-2023 related to reducing the phenomena of illicit profit.
Specifically, required:
A fine of 1,000,000 euros on the company “JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS GR. Ltd.”
Intensive controls continue at DIMEA. In November alone, more than 1,250 surveillance operations were carried out and fines amounting to more than 5.5 million euros were imposed.
