New rules on Twitch for displaying controversial body parts

the Twitch I've just changed the rules for what content is allowed to be streamed on the platform again, making a very specific adjustment.

This change in rules is of course not accidental. Twitch wants to address the new “meta”, i.e. the new trend started by many channels, where they broadcast gameplay content with an overlay of a body part, which is usually the chest or back. This trend was started by Morgpie, a streamer who has been banned on the platform several times, because she constantly tests the boundaries of what is allowed and what is not, with provocative content.

Below you can see a typical example of the new trend that has gone viral on social media X, with over 19 million views. In this post, countless users of the platform expressed their surprise, with the same post that went viral noting: “I have now officially seen everything.”
