SYRIZA President Stefanos Kassalakis has been in Lesvos since Saturday afternoon, continuing his tour of the Aegean.
He had the opportunity to walk the streets of Miletti, where he interacted with young men and women and took many selfies with them.
The leader of Syriza participated in a meeting with representatives of Lesvos companies.
In his short greeting, the President said, “We cannot accept that the North Aegean is the poorest region in the European Union. It is not something that can go unanswered without action. It is the duty of the state to intervene when private initiative does not work.”
Earlier this Saturday, Mr. Kassalakis was at Psara from Chios.
