NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 – Nvidia will be available in three different memory configurations

It’s understood that mid-range and mid-range graphics cards move the most units and generate the most profits for companies, and NVIDIA seems keen to cover different price points with the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070, which it plans to market with 10GB, 12GB, and 16 GB.

As is known, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti has 7680 CUDA cores, 12GB of 21Gbps GDDR6X memory, and a 192-bit memory bandwidth. In the case of the GeForce RTX 4070, CUDA cores are expected to drop to 5888 but at least one of the three configurations will retain the 21Gbps memory and 192-bit bandwidth of the larger “4070 Ti” version. The version with 12GB GDDR6X is likely to have more memory speed and bandwidth (the memory bus bandwidth in the 16GB version is still a mystery at the moment). The version with 10 GB of memory will likely use a 160-bit memory bus and may be GDDR6.

As with any leak, in this particular case, we must be wary of the veracity of the information. However, since the aforementioned graphics card models have been leaked from the official GIGABYTE website (unless they are canceled, which we believe is unlikely), we can at least confirm that NVIDIA will release three different versions of the GeForce RTX 4070. Logically, we also expect it to react. AMD with its new “mainstream” RDNA 3 models, but the company hasn’t shown its cards yet.
