According to the well-known and very knowledgeable leaker with the pseudonym Kopite7kimi on Twitter, the new GeForce RTX 40 series SUPER graphics cards will debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2024. It appears that you have the same information and the site VideoCardz reproduces the well-known leaker’s post.
Although NVIDIA is not officially among the exhibitors at the upcoming show, the company has on several occasions used conference rooms — or even spaces in surrounding hotels — to conduct product presentations to journalists and customers. Rumors about the upcoming launch of the new GeForce RTX 40 series SUPER graphics cards have been circulating for some time.
According to the latest information, the GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 SUPER will be available with more memory and wider memory interfaces than current solutions. More specifically, we expect the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER to have a 320-bit memory bus, and the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER to come with a 256-bit memory bus. It is expected that the first will integrate 20 GB of memory, while the second will have 16 GB of memory.
However, the above has not been officially confirmed. Previously, there were rumors of “SUPER” cards in the GeForce RTX 30 series, but we have finally seen “Ti” versions. Let’s remember that we have seen the “SUPER” branding since the GeForce RTX 20 series era.
