A total of 275 immigrants, including 67 minors, 45 of them unaccompanied, were found inside a trailer trailer box on the highway in the eastern Mexican state of Veracruz, the National Immigration Agency (INM) said on Wednesday.
In a statement, the INM, which affiliates with the Interior Ministry (Ministry), pointed out that the migrants were from Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Cuba, El Salvador and Ecuador and C கோrdoba-Puebla. Highway and Veracruz officials also participated.
He noted that of the total number of migrants found in the truck, 29 were from Honduras (9 women and 13 men, 5 minors and 2 unaccompanied minors); 191 from Guatemala (25 women and 114 adult men, 9 minors and 43 unaccompanied minors); 19 from Nicaragua (6 women and 11 men and 2 minors).
They found a crowd of 310 immigrants, including Ecuador, in a trailer box in Mexico.
In addition, 16 were Cubans (8 women and 7 men, one minor); 2 from El Salvador (adult female and accompanying minor), as well as 18 from Ecuador (6 females and 8 males, and 4 minors).
The INM pointed out that by not recognizing their continued stay in the Mexican territory, the immigrants were transferred to institutional facilities in the state of Veracruz to carry out related immigration procedures.
Those who traveled in family nuclei were under the protection of the Family Integrated Development Organization (DIF) in the state. (I)
