POCO F5 Pro has a 6.67-inch WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay (3200 x 1440 pixels resolution) with 1400nits peak brightness, 480Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, and Dolby Vision. There are three cameras on the back, the main camera is based on a 64-megapixel sensor with 1.4 µm pixels and f: / 1.8 lens. The main camera is accompanied by an ultra wide-angle lens with fixed focus and f: /2.2 aperture based on an 8-megapixel sensor, as well as a 2-megapixel macro camera with f: /2.4 aperture. The selfie camera is based on a 16-megapixel sensor and f: /2.45 lens system.
Inside, there’s a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage or 12GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage. Its battery capacity is 5160mAh and supports 67W fast wired charging and 30W fast wireless charging with the package including the 67W charger. Its equipment includes stereo speakers, IR blaster, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS and a fingerprint sensor (optical) under the screen. It also meets IP53 (protection from splashing water) specifications.
The POCO F5 has the same camera system – front and back – as the ‘Pro’ version as well as the same screen diagonal but the resolution is limited to 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. The 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED DotDisplay supports a 120Hz refresh rate as well as a 480Hz touch sampling rate with peak brightness also limited to 1,000 nits. Its battery is also smaller in capacity (5,000 mAh) than that of the “Pro” version but supports at least the same 67W fast charging technology (and yes, it also has the corresponding charger in the box).
The main element that differentiates the two versions – apart from the looks on the back and the display – is the SoC, which in the case of the POCO F5 is the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. The device has 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Like the ‘Pro’ version, it has stereo speakers, an IR blaster, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and a fingerprint sensor (on the bezel, on the side).
