An Etihad Airways plane has been transformed into a stylish, luxurious summer home with bedrooms in its own fuselage, which you can rent for a holiday this year.

A video tour of the impressive air lodge in Tenby, West Wales, has gone viral on TikTok from the owners’ Apple Camping UK account, garnering more than 800,000 views.

The Airbus A320, which flies from Cardiff Airport, looks the same from the outside, but the interior has been completely changed.

The open lounge area was built inside the original fuselage, which is the large outer shell that surrounds the fuselage or cabin of the aircraft.

What does a home plane include?

A functional kitchen has been installed in the galley area, the cabin doors are fully functional, guests will discover Etihad Airways and Air France branded storage spaces, as well as runway trolleys, and Wi-Fi is available.

The toilet has been converted to include a shower, while the living room has plenty of light thanks to 26 windows (equipped with retractable blinds), as well as cabin lights.
