This is the OnePlus Nord Watch – a smartwatch with a large and bright screen, the ability to track sports activities and a battery life of up to 30 days.
In terms of technical characteristics, the Nord Watch has a 1.78-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. As expected, the watch does not have its own GPS, which means that it is aware of its owner. Location only by smartphone via Bluetooth 5.2.
OnePlus developed the watch as a unisex wearable device that can help women keep track of their menstrual cycle. It also has a heart rate sensor, SpO2 function, and supports sleep monitoring. With its accelerometer, it can automatically detect different exercise activities, and support 105 types of exercises. It also has IP68 protection grade for complete protection against dust and water.
The case of the watch is also made of zinc alloy and plastic, while the strap is made of silicone. The battery capacity is 230 mAh, and according to OnePlus, the battery life is one month in low power mode. With active use, this is limited to 10 days.
The OnePlus Nord watch is now available for about $60 – for a limited time – and in midnight black and deep blue. It will then be priced at $85. However, at the moment we do not know if the OnePlus smartwatch will appear or not outside India.
