The Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, together with the Supervised Welfare and Social Solidarity Organization (OPEKA), announced today that benefits for the month of May will be paid, Friday, May 31, for a total of €316,726,861.
Among the benefits of OPEKA that stand out are the child benefit, housing benefit and guaranteed minimum income.
In more detail, the allowances that will be disbursed are as follows:
- Child benefit: beneficiaries 604,293 – 129,634,156 euros
- Housing benefit: Beneficiaries 238,862 – 29,136,960 euros
- Minimum guaranteed income: Beneficiaries 186,429 – 41,889,576 euros
- Disability: Beneficiaries 187,603 – 86,465,500 euros
- Housing benefit: beneficiaries 607 – 186,833 euros
- Harmonized allowance: beneficiaries 5,550 – 195,271 euros
- Allowance for uninsured elderly persons, Law 1296/1982: Beneficiaries 14,669 – 5,509,163 euros
- Social Solidarity Allowance for Older Persons: Beneficiaries 18,745 – 7,719,562 euros
- Solidarity allowance for the Greek minority in Albania: beneficiaries 12,434 – 3,120,882 euros
- Funeral expenses: Beneficiaries 83 – 65,893 euros
- Maternity benefit: Beneficiaries 10,068 – 11,617,750 euros
- Allowance for mountainous and deprived areas: beneficiaries 10 – 5,700 euros
- Red Loans: Beneficiaries €2,125 – €199,493
- Protected children who died in natural disasters: Beneficiaries 11 – 11,000 euros
- Bridge Programme: Beneficiaries 15 – €4,806
- Vulnerable debtors: beneficiaries 9 – 1050 euros
