Panathinaikos are knocking on the “big doors” to be able to complete in the next few days their main transfers on the left side (full-back and winger) and are working on two separate cases at the same time, having currently placed a lot of weight on the midfielder position in the case of Cristian Pavon.
Brazilian media reported on Thursday (7/11) direct contacts of people working on behalf of Panathinaikos with Gremio for the 28-year-old Argentine international winger, it was not only… smoke, but – as the information says – there was now also “fire”.
Panathinaikos now seem to have reached a verbal agreement with Pavon’s team, through the contacts made in the previous days with his representatives, the Argentine has been quite positive about the possibility of his transfer to Greece. In a team with high goals that will give him the opportunity to regain his place in the Argentine national team.
The question now is to negotiate with the Porto Alegre team. The same sources from the Brazilian market indicate that Panathinaikos is ready to offer €4 million (more money than the €3.7 million originally reported by the Brazilian press) plus a 15% resale percentage to the Brazilian club.
