In detail what he wrote:
«Zvornik Street where Zeljeznicar Stadium is located in Sarajevo has been renamed Ivica Osim Avenue! As you know, the legendary Ivica Osim started his successful football career as a footballer for Zelieznicar and then played for Strasbourg, Valenciennes and Sedan in France while wearing the national team shirt of a united Yugoslavia 16 times and scoring 8 goals!
As a coach, he led the Yugoslav national team to its greatest success, finishing fifth in the 1990 World Cup in Italy, losing in the semi-finals on penalties to Argentina’s Maradona!
He has been a coach for Partizan from Panathinaikos, Sturm from JEF United as well as a selection for the Japanese national team! When I visited Sarajevo last year to attend the funeral of this great guru of modern football, ideas of renaming a street into Ivica Osim Street began to ripen!
I am so proud to be his assistant and interpreter at Panathinaikos!».
