Algerian journalist’s report on the 35-year-old attacker
A transfer scenario from Algeria emerges for PAOK, after journalist Nabil Jleit reported that the two-headed team is interested in veteran striker Islam Slimani.
The 35-year-old striker’s contract with Anderlecht is coming to an end, and according to the Algerian journalist, there is interest from PAOK, Watford and Saudi Arabia teams in Slimani.
The experienced striker played 34 matches last season, scoring 11 goals and making 4 assists. He played in the first half of the season in Brest, and the second half of the season in Anderlecht.
Slimani has a rich career in European stadiums, as he previously played for Sporting, Leicester, Fenerbahce, Monaco, Newcastle, Lyon, Brest and Anderlecht, while he played 89 matches with Algeria and scored 42 goals.
Soleimani still has an offer from Anderlecht where he could form a duet with Dolberg. He has specific interests from PAOK Thessaloniki and Watford. The tracks are also in the bay. The player would like to remain competitive with his national team in the CAN or even CM perspective. pic.twitter.com/d4sv5V8vmX
