Actress Pemi Zuni gave an exclusive interview on the program “You Haven’t Seen Anything Yet!”.
First, the beloved actress spoke about the series she stars in: “I hope the ‘Love Runs Away’ issue will be resolved soon. Usually the people who make decisions about the series are fine because they kill us when they fail to respond. But why not “They’re collecting rumors about some of us that it’s stopping for our own reasons? It makes me angry. We love the series and we’ll all support it going elsewhere.”
Regarding the theatrical show in which he is participating, he said: “My Brother Amadeus” will continue this year again in the concert hall. I play Mozart’s sister, she taught him and introduced him to music. When she was eighteen, her life was over. You do me you never dare deprive me of my dreams. I always took it for granted: “You will pursue what you love, otherwise you will not be able to live.”
“My father, who left when I was young, did not want me to follow the path of an actor. My mother forced both parents. My mother had the strictness of my father, but she had a very modern mind. My mother was always fair in her criticisms, and I did not like that. She also told me the negatives ,” she said of her family.
One of the distinctive elements of the beloved actress is her voice, which is why she commented:
“They recognize me just by my voice. If I go out incognito, with different hair, wearing glasses and talking, they recognize me immediately. A woman once told me: ‘When I listen to you on TV, my anxiety goes away and I calm down.’ I feel very angry even though “I have control over things. When I get angry and know someone is wrong, I become harsher, not with my voice but with my comments.”
Regarding her career through series, she noted: “I also love Christoforos Papakaliatis very much and the series “Close Your Eyes,” and I am proud of it.” Whenever I see snapshots or pictures I feel emotional. Then I did not have time to experience this panic that happened. Ladies my age were very happy with “Close Your Eyes,” and then I was the “front girl.” I have no contact with Christoforos Papakaliatis because too often our lives go elsewhere. But this love is there.”
What role does love play in the life of an actress?
“Love cannot fit into the normal, because then it fades away. Love must be accompanied by resistance, and there must be a little flight in it. I have given blood, pain and tears for love and lived it to the fullest. Foulis once told me: “Oh Zunis, you can’t live without despair.” Everything I lived was exaggerated because I needed it, it was a kindling to the flame. Love can be destructive, and art says that too. I believe that art is stronger than love and can never be trusted “
While evaluating her life, she admitted: “I am very satisfied with my work but also with love. In the beginning, when I became famous, but was underpaid, I had a lot of fun. I remember I was counting the money to see what I would eat until I got the next job, and I was not in the mood “Good. I lost a lot of money due to wrong moves, lost all my savings and started from scratch. The health issues are the serious ones. My daughter’s health issue was a good lesson. My daughter has been married, divorced, and moving on with her life. I have always listened to her choices and trusted her.”
