Three men were charged after breaking into a school building in Piria a month ago and taking €28,000 worth of equipment.
The case record filed against the three accused will be submitted to Prototiki Katerinis’ lawyer.
According to the police, the details of the three persons – among them a minor boy – have been identified and the equipment has been recovered and returned to the school.
Specifically, the theft case was solved after a proper investigation by the police officers of the Deputy Directorate of Cadre Security. The incident took place in Pieria last July.

On the evening of July 29, 2024, the concerned persons broke the door of the school building and removed seven interactive touch screens worth a total of 28,000 euros, the school principal informed the police authorities.
The stolen items were recovered and handed over to the school principal. Police investigation continues to trace the involvement of the accused in other similar criminal activities.
The case filed against them will be submitted to the Katarinis public prosecutor.
