More information on the PlayStation portal
Project Portal is a new portable PlayStation system, which won’t exactly be a successor to the PSP and PS Vita, because for it to work, one will need to have a PlayStation 5.
In terms of its technical features, PlayStation Portal has an 8-inch LCD screen, with a resolution of 1080p and 60 frames per second. Sony describes it as follows: With a bright 8-inch LCD display capable of up to 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, the device delivers sharp graphics and smooth gameplay streamed from your PS5 when you’re away from the TV.
From now on, it has become known that the device will not have 4G or 5G, and will instead use Wi-Fi exclusively to stream compatible games (except VR titles) from the PS5 through the Remote Play function.
In terms of handling, we know that the PS Portal will have all the buttons and features of the DualSense, meaning there will be regular haptic feedback, but also support for adaptive triggers.
