Cameras captured the Prince of Wales and his 10-year-old son standing and clapping, while Prince George wore the team's scarf around his neck.

In fact, in a brief conversation with a sportswriter at the stadium, Prince William said that his eldest son loves football. “He is part of the group,” he said, referring to the word “pride” that Aston Villa fans use to refer to each other.
