Giorgos Printezis announced his intention to stay on the basketball court.
The former captain of Olympiacos is on Syros, organizing the AEGEAN Ball Festival, speaking to Cosmote Camera, he indicated that he does not want to give up basketball and is looking forward to finding a role in a team.
Of course, Printezes meant a managerial position, while indicating that priority would be given to Olympiacos, the team he grew up with and owed everything to.
His statements in detail:
“I love basketball. This is what I learned to do and I know how to do it well. In general, all people think that they know how to do more things than they can. I have dedicated myself to basketball since I was 13 years old and I don’t want to do anything else. My priority and mind is always on the bad lies in Olympiacos.
It’s the team I grew up with, I want to give back what they gave me. It’s the team I know very well and I feel like they love me and I want to contribute. From now on, if I loved doing anything else, it would be about the kids. It’s not up to me to deal with that. At the moment I don’t think so.”
Ioannis Papapetrou has spoken of the possibility of his return to Panathinaikos, with the international striker leaving everything open until the end of the summer.
