I think not! The PlayStation service has been backed up, but PlayStation’s official social media accounts have yet to acknowledge that there is a problem. Problems? what are the problems? The Ask PlayStation The Twitter feed (“Official PlayStation Support for English, Spanish and Portuguese for the Americas”) has not been updated in 17 hours, for example, and Facebook page He is equally happy and optimistic. sigh. So much for transparency.

back to work

We just checked the PlayStation Store and were able to download a game from it, so that (according to the PlayStation Server Status Update) it appears to work again. We’ve also found that online multiplayer games seem to be working again, at least to us.

Currently, PlayStation Now appears to be the only service still affected.

PlayStation is now still down but other services are back

According to Sony’s status checker, most of its services are now back online, with only PlayStation Now showing that it is still affected.

The report says “you may have difficulty streaming PlayStation Now games” and that Sony is “working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible”. Last updated at 13:41 GMT. So I’ve been impacted for about 3 hours at this point, which is a huge break.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, players are still reporting not being able to play their games.

Meanwhile, Sony official Ask the PlayStation Twitter account He still doesn’t admit the error in a direct tweet, only in responses to people who complain.

Not acknowledging issues on Twitter

The AskPlayStation Twitter account now responds to players’ questions, but instead of acknowledging the issues, the account asks those with PS Plus issues if they’re using the same account they made the purchase (and directs them to their license recovery guide) and those who don’t have access to Online games ask if they see certain error codes.

It’s strange, given that the state of the PlayStation Network server acknowledges that there are issues with PSN and online play.
