Russian President Putin spoke out against the new law passed in Greece for LGBT people, on the basis of which they will be able to adopt children, characteristically saying that “pedophilia has become the new normal.”
In his public speech, he referred to the West's general retreat on the occasion of the extreme law now implemented in Greece on same-sex “marriage” and adoption.
Referring to what happened recently in Greece, he said, “They are destroying the institution of the family, its historical identity, and its traditions,” expressing his dissatisfaction with what is happening.
The Russians had and still hold Greece very high in their minds because they consider it a kind of “spiritual mother” because it introduced Orthodoxy to them and they are very disappointed with the country’s moral path.
Specifically, the Russian President said:
“They cannot accept the fact that Russia cannot be defeated on the battlefield. That is why they continue disinformation attacks.
First of all they lie to new generations. Regardless of historical events, they never stop attacks against our culture, Orthodoxy or other religions.
Look what they are doing to their people. They are destroying the institution of the family, their historical identity and their traditions.
Regarding children, pedophilia is accepted as the new normal (referring to the LGBTI+ law passed in Greece that will allow them to adopt minor children).
Priests are forced to recognize and perform same-sex marriages.
People have the right to live as they want, no one intrudes into anyone's private life, no one wants that, but I would say take a look at the Bible, of any religion.
They say that a family is the union of a man and a woman.”
