The Finance Ministry is giving a double extension of “breathing” for refundable advances and for companies that still have open accounts with the state from aid courses offered during the pandemic. especially :
- The deadline for submitting supporting documents has been extended to 05/31/2023 on the online platform “myBusinessSupport” of the Public Revenue Authority independent of those companies – beneficiaries who have not yet submitted the supporting documents required to receive assistance through the refund advance and
- Payment of unlawfully paid amounts has been extended until 06/30/2023.
Settlement data has not been published
The extension of the deadline for the return of aid, which officially expired tomorrow, January 31, was manifested in the fact that AADE has not released settlement data, with the total amount of aid that businesses and professionals who don’t comply with their obligations must return once and with interest.. Depending on the schedule, the AADE must send by January 31 to companies that have demonstrated non-compliance with the program’s liquidation criteria in which the total amount of assistance from one or more cycles to the recipient, obligating them to return in one payment and with interest, will be indicated.
The AADE, during the process of auditing the companies, identified a series of omissions and errors that were not corrected by a decision from the Ministry of Finance in November 2022, which amended the refundable advance requirement to the retention clause, so that companies with minor irregularities do not have to repay the full amount of the aid.
