A new rumor has emerged stating that… apple Wants to change their batteries iPhone This is to facilitate the replacement process. News is transmitted to the public through 9to5macwhich states that due to European Union legislation, Apple is reportedly working on developing new technology for the batteries of its upcoming phones.
Currently, replacing iPhone batteries requires using a screwdriver to remove the battery, which is held in place by adhesive strips that must also be removed. Hence, in order to install a new battery, one needs a specialized machine to put it in.
Under the new patent, Apple will replace the aluminum material with metal to cover the battery.
The new technology, which Apple calls “electrolytically induced adhesive debonding,” changes the battery casing to metal rather than to the “foil” used today. This will allow people to remove the battery from the chassis much easier.
Although it seems that the process will become easier, Apple will still recommend that consumers visit a specialized country to replace the battery. If Apple’s development of this new technology goes according to its plans, it could debut with the iPhone 16.
