Pictures show A device with a more “square” design that shares a lot in common with the design of the recently released Galaxy S24 Ultra, with square edges replacing the more rounded edges that graced the Galaxy Z Fold5.
According to the SmartPrix website, the dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold6 are 153.5 x 132.5 x 6.1 mm when the device is fully extended, which makes it slightly smaller and wider than its predecessor. The flexible internal display is said to have a diagonal of 7.6 inches while the external display is approximately 6.2 inches.
Otherwise, the digital images show the Galaxy Z Fold6 with many familiar design elements from the current Galaxy Z Fold5, such as the triple camera system on the back. At the top of the device, three microphones and earphone/speaker grills can be seen, while at the bottom there is another microphone, headphone grills, and a USB Type-C connector. The volume rocker and power button are still on the right side with the SIM card slot on the left.
Samsung has certainly not announced the specifications of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but the SmartPrix website estimates that the device will be based on the Galaxy phone's Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, with the ability to choose between 12 GB and 16 GB of memory and storage space. Up to 1 TB. Both OLED displays may also support a 120Hz refresh rate. The three cameras on the back will be based on 50MP, 12MP and 10MP sensors, with the second sensor located behind an ultra-wide lens and the third behind a telephoto lens. The front is also expected to feature a 10-megapixel camera for selfies. Samsung is rumored to be unveiling its new foldable devices at its Unpacked event in July, where it will also share more details about the Galaxy Ring which we recently got a closer look at.
