Shakira was honored in her hometown with a 6.5-meter statue

City Barranquilla, Colombia Honor her Shakira. Through a post on Instagram, the star revealed that she was placed in her hometown, Waheed Bronze statue of Lino Márquez. It is noteworthy that Spotify recently honored the singer with her special day on September 29.

“Colombia is an endless source of inspiration, and I am so grateful that I grew up there and it is the inspiration for my life,” Shakira said.
