Shooting at a high school in Bosnia

Attack with fire An incident occurred at a high school in a town in western Bosnia, killing three people and injuring many others.

In particular, a former school employee opened fire – at 10:15 a.m. (local time) – killing the school principal and two teachers during a meeting they were holding.

Ambulances and police cars rushed to the scene.

The attacker was seriously injured and allegedly attempted suicide after the incident.

The reasons for the attack are not yet known, while the police are present at the scene and investigations are still ongoing.

Since schools remained closed for the summer vacation, there were no students inside the school halls.

The N1 TV network reported – citing an eyewitness – that the school supervisor, who was subjected to disciplinary action by the high school administration, searched for specific people and shot them.

The incident occurred during a meeting at the school before it reopens for the new academic year.
