“While Angelina Jolie's history of physical abuse at the hands of Brad Pitt began long before the family's 2016 trip from France to Los Angeles, this trip was the first time physical abuse was directed at children,” the document states. I left him immediately.

At the time, Brad Pitt had agreed to buy Angelina Jolie's stake in the French winery, but reportedly backed out because he feared his ex-wife's sealed documents would eventually be made public.
The actress's lawyer indicated in a statement to Page Six that “Brad Pitt refused to buy Angelina Jolie's share when he realized that she would not remain silent about his ex-wife.”
“By refusing to buy out her stake and then suing her, Brad Pitt directly challenged why the deal was so important to him and what he hoped to bury. “His abuse of Angelina Jolie and their family,” he added, referring to Brad Pitt’s lawsuit against Angelina Jolie over Selling its share in the winery to another interested party.
The document also claims that Angelina Jolie never pressed any charges against Brad Pitt because she believed the best course of action was for Brad Pitt to take responsibility and help the family recover from the post-traumatic stress this caused.
“He wants to distract”
A source close to Brad Pitt told Page Six that Angelina Jolie is constantly trying to distract from legal defeats by providing irrelevant or inaccurate information.
“There's a pattern every time he loses. He keeps coming back to it, and there's nothing new here,” he noted.
According to documents obtained by Page Six from June 2023, Brad Pitt claimed that his vengeful ex-wife sold her stake in Chateau Miraval after gaining joint custody of their six children (a decision that was later reversed).
In his testimony, he claimed that it was Angelina Jolie who presented a broader clause, while Brad Pitt presented a standard confidentiality agreement with the sole purpose of protecting the company.
“The clause also made clear that there would be no restrictions on Angelina Jolie’s ability to speak regarding divorce or child custody proceedings,” the documents read.
