His wife, Patricia, confirmed his death in a statement to TMZ on Monday.
“As Ned said, he was attacked by two rare killers — cholangiocarcinoma [bile duct cancer] and skin cancer in the eye. For two years, he bravely fought cancers in private while continuing to work in the show business to make sure his medical coverage paid off for him and his family.”
