The 33 players who played in the big league last year are free agents

SPORT24 searched and found 33 players who played in the Stoiximan Premier League in the 2022-23 season and remain free agents after the Greek transfer window closed.

The transfer period in Greece ended on Monday evening (9/11). Now the market will be open from Tuesday (12/9) until 9/30 only for football players who have been released by their teams in Greece and abroad.

The relevant announcement by the EPO regarding the end of the transfer period in relation to free agent footballers states: “The summer transfer period for unemployed professionals for international and local transfers from 9-12-2023 to 9-30-2023“.

Many of the players are free agents abroad and it is possible that some of them will be occupied by Greek clubs in the coming days who will want to fill some holes in their roster.

However, there are also footballers who played in the Stoiximan Super League in the 2022-23 season who have been released and are looking for the next stage of their career, whether that be in Greece and another team in the Stoiximan Super League, or at clubs abroad.

the Sport24 I researched and found which outfielders who played in the big league last year were free agents as of Monday night (9/11) as no one knows what the future holds, especially the next few days.

In the list of 33 footballers, we face some exceptional cases such as Empelas, Papastathopoulos, Kasami who do not continue at Olympiacos and are looking, perhaps abroad, for the next stage of their career or Kandori, Besesvar who were released by PAOK.
