The Cuban Foreign Minister has condemned the US handling of human rights

Havana -. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez today condemned the United States’ use of the human rights issue as a useful tool against countries that do not submit to its interests.

Through his Twitter account, the foreign minister denounced, meanwhile, that the North was “rewarding and financing governments with terrible achievement” in this regard.

The previous day, the State Department had released its most recent annual report on human rights in the world, avoiding exposing its internal problems while pointing out what was happening in other countries.

Rodriguez deliberately asserted that the US economic, commercial and financial blockade was a major breach of the island’s guarantees.

He added that the document handles the issue in a way that disrupts the constitutional order of the nation.

Meanwhile, Johanna Tablada, deputy director of the US State Department, described Cuba as implementing a treacherous policy of wasting millions on a massive campaign against its population, healthcare system and legitimate sources of income.

He condemned the oppression of the people of the United States and other countries which is a priority for him.

Precisely the day before, the National Urban League (NUL) had released a report on the situation of black people in the United States in 2022 and its results reflected the inequality and systematic racism in that country.

The document points out that people of Afro descent are lagging behind in terms of economic income, which is 37 percent lower than whites, and are less likely to benefit from owning a home.
