On Friday afternoon, singer Marina Satti published a post on her personal Instagram account, with moments from the MAD Music Awards.
It is reported that shortly before receiving her award, Marina Satti experienced an uncomfortable moment, when Athenais Negga pointed out the yawning that the Greek singer made at this year’s Eurovision contest, while the Israeli representative was speaking. Marina Satti did not react to the journalist’s statements when she took the stage, and has not commented on her post yet, thus providing her own answer.
Athenais Nega said at Mad VMA 2024: “I’m here to give the award for Best Pop Artist. I could yawn, but I won’t because I really appreciate her as a singer, even though I disagree with her. Marina come on.”
After receiving her award, Marina Satti did not respond to the journalist’s comment and stated the following: “Thank you very much. It’s my first time here, my first award, thank you very much. It’s been an interesting year, I’ve learned a lot of things, I’ve gained a lot of things. I’ve missed some things…I wanted to thank you very much for your love and support.” I’m very happy that things are starting to happen as I imagined them all these years. We are preparing new things, new songs, and we hope you like them too. Thank you very much.”
