Today (6/17) the national team began its preparations for the preliminary round of the tournament (7/2-7) under the guidance of Vassilis Spanoulis.
National Team Day today (6/17). The Blue and White team has begun its preparations ahead of the preliminary tournament that will be held at the SEF from July 2 to 7.
Vassilis Spanoulis was at the Peace and Friendship Stadium with his crew, welcoming the first nine players, as the first assembly did not include Giannis Antetokounmpo, the most international heavyweights of Olympiacos and Panathinaikos Actor, since the Stoiximan Basketball League was completed a few days ago. Greece will organize one of the four previous Olympic tournaments with the participation of Croatia, New Zealand, Egypt and the Dominican Republic. Slovenia is in the first group, along with New Zealand and Croatia, while Greece is in the second group, along with the Dominican Republic and Egypt.
