The Mayor has called upon the citizens to set up water collection tanks

The country’s municipality’s advice to citizens to deal with water shortages has caused a stir.

There is serious concern among Erimanthos citizens about water availability in their area, especially after the annexation – the municipality’s instruction to collect and store rainwater to prevent runoff.

The municipality of Erimanthos has asked all citizens to cooperate in not drinking water carelessly and not using it for irrigation.

As argued by the municipality of Erymanthos, this year’s winter was marked by very long periods of rain causing significant water scarcity problems especially in the summer months.

The advice to citizens to get small water tanks and place them in suitable places in their homes, such as rooftops and rooftops, to reduce the incidence of water shortages – demonstrates how big the problem is.

The municipality informs that cases of negligent use of drinking water or use of water to irrigate crops will result in interruption of municipal benefits and fines provided by the Water Supply Regulation.

“All residents are invited to support the municipality’s efforts for proper water management, so that no one is deprived,” says the Municipality of Erimanthos.
