Galaxy S23 FE
The Galaxy S23 FE is the successor to last year’s Galaxy S21 FE 5G, which was released in two versions, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G (5nm) or with the Samsung Exynos 2100 (5nm).
Like its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 FE will be available in two different versions depending on the processor model it includes, one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4nm) and the other with Samsung Exynos 2200 (4nm).
In our country last year, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G version with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor was released anyway. In the base version, the Galaxy S23 FE has 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of non-expandable storage.
In terms of photographic hardware “capabilities”, the device has a selfie camera based on a 10-megapixel sensor and a main camera based on a wide-angle lens located in front of a 50-megapixel sensor. The main camera comes with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom, which is located in front of the 8-megapixel sensor.
The screen is a Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a diameter of 6.4 inches and a resolution of FHD+, which supports a refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. Its battery capacity is 4,500 mAh and supports 25W wired charging (charges to 50% in half an hour) in addition to wireless charging. Its cost for our country has not yet been confirmed. In the United States, prices start at $599.
Galaxy Tab S9 FE and FE+
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are available in two versions, the first has a 10.9-inch screen and the second has a 12.4-inch screen. Both devices will also be available in WiFi and 5G versions. In both cases, the screens are IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and support for a 90Hz refresh rate.
Vision Booster technology is supported, making the screen more readable in outdoor environments while two speakers that support Dolby Atmos are not missing. Both devices are IP68 certified waterproof and the package also includes the S Pen, which is also dust and water resistant.
Both devices are based on the Samsung Exynos 1380 with the Galaxy Tab S9 FE available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Both versions will come with 128GB or 256GB of storage that can be expanded using a microSD memory card.
Both devices have a 12-megapixel front camera (FoV 120°) and an 8-megapixel main camera with a wide-angle lens system. However, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a second camera on the back, which is also 8MP but has an ultra-wide lens. Another difference is found in the battery capacity, which in the case of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a capacity of 8,000 mAh while in the case of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ it has a capacity of 10,000 mAh. 45W fast charging is supported in both cases, though you’ll need to get your own charger to take advantage of it.
Prices for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE start at €529 in Europe, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ starts at €699. 5G versions cost €100 more.
