The second part of Cyberpunk 2077 will be a combination of the movie and the game together!

News is conveyed to the public through Screaming gamewhich published an advertisement recently posted by CD Project Redwho is looking for one Lead cinematographer In her next game.

The description of the advertisement indicates, among other things, that the studio is looking for a specialist to work on “Highly interactive cinematic sequencesWhich will create a “fusion” between the game and the movie. From the context, we can see that Project Orion will take the next step with interactive sequences (perhaps not just cutscenes) and will be very cinematic.

The advertisement states:

Whoever takes on this role will be part of the team working on Project Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, the next big game in the series. Our cinematics team focuses on creating highly interactive cinematic sequences using diverse animation and motion capture to blend film and game together.

If you have not played Cyberpunk 2077 yet, let us tell you that in this game also there were different moments where players could interact either through various choices or through their actions. Through different decisions players can change positions. However, it seems that the company wants to give everything for the sequel and make a mix of the game and the movie together.

Speaking to Reuters recently, CD Projekt co-CEO Michal Nowakowski said the studio is considering adding multiplayer to the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, but did not share further details on the matter. Then, the company's CEO, Adam Badowski, said that by the end of 2024, an additional 80 people will work on this project.

As we previously learned, the sequel is being developed by CD Projekt's American branches and studios, specifically those in Vancouver and Boston, while according to Badowski, some people from the company's headquarters in Poland will also contribute.
