The new planning for the AADE for 2023 provides new services, as well as new obligations for taxpayers, with the aim of better serving taxpayers in their dealings with the tax office. Now it is necessary to issue a value added tax, as it will be a “tool” in catching cases of tax evasion and smuggling.
These include the granting of TINs to all minor children, a new procedure for issuing TINs and parent numbers, the digital release of tax information in debt withholding cases, quarterly information on the deceased’s heirs regarding their liabilities and automatic information on E9 for all returns filed through myPROPERTY.
At the same time, the AADE’s operational plan includes a large-scale “offensive” against tax evasion and smuggling, which includes 179,000 tax and customs checks, 25,000 notifications of additional taxes and fines, and at least 80,000 phone calls to taxpayers who forget to fulfill their obligations and to those who They have delinquent debts for the first time.
At the same time, new electronic tools such as “ELEGHOSLive” are being activated, which will allow, starting from next month, tax auditors who will conduct on-site audits using a tablet to access the profile of a professional or company, to proceed immediately and with quick procedures in data checks and issuance On-site note with examination results.
The AADE’s 2023 Operational Plan foresees, among others, the following actions:
