She herself had already noticed changes in her then 17-year-old daughter's behavior, while the final stage was when the minor turned to her mother and asked her for help in putting an end to the revealing nightmare she was experiencing. In fact, she receives threats to her life, due to which she tries to kill herself.

It all seems to have started in the summer of 2017 when the boy met the perpetrator through mutual friends. A few months later, as he continued to communicate with the girl, the young man moved abroad with his parents. Their relationship continued by exchanging messages through an online application, which seems to have developed into a flirtation.

As described in the case file, the young man demanded to have complete control over the student's movements and demanded privacy in her life. She valued knowing where and with whom she went for walks, while she also controlled her clothing choices. He used verbal and psychological violence against her and made her feel not only bad but also guilty when her choices did not match his “will”. It seems that the girl could not bear this control and repression and turned to a psychologist. He, on the other hand, believes that only he can help her and that she has rich feelings, trapping her mentally and emotionally.

There were few times when the girl wanted to break up with him, but the accused threatened to publish private photos that he had recorded without her knowledge and permission, and at the same time asked him to carve her up to intimidate her. and burn parts of her body. In February 2021, he allegedly tried to insert a knife into her genital area and twist it to cause mutilation, which the minor refused. At the same time, he carved the words “Sorry” and “Truth” into his left leg and left arm and forced him to mutilate his body with a knife. Using the same threat of publishing nude photos, he forced her to reveal to him the passwords to her social media profiles that she had deleted from one account.

The court found him guilty of “attempted female genital mutilation”, “illegal processing of personal data” and “unlawful violence” (the last two acts in the sequence).
