Time is running out for that Thessaly & Evros Pass 2024, Bad weather is aimed at supporting areas affected by Daniel and last summer’s wildfires.
As Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced in his weekly review Tuesday, June 25 opens platform.
“The day after tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25, the site opens for applications for the total budget of “Thessaly & Evros Pass 2024”. 4.45 million Euros. Intangible digital debit cards cover accommodation, food and local transport costs. The program has no income criteria, and from Tuesday you can make your application via vouchers.gov.gr,” he characteristically wrote.
What is Thessaly & Evros Pass 2024?
The platform stands for immaterial digital debit cards that beneficiaries can use for accommodation, catering and local transport expenses in the above affected areas till the last day of the selected phase.
The project will be divided into three areas:
- Thessaly A. for the municipal units of Agria, Portaria, Artemis and Makrinitsis of the Municipality of South Pelion, Zagora Mouresi and Volos.
- Thessaly B for the municipalities of Limni Plastra, Agia, Tempo, Pyli (except the municipal units of Komphon and Pialia) and Meteora
- Evros for the municipal unit of Soufli Municipality and Feronin Municipality of Alexandroupoli Municipality
In all three calendar cycles:
- July August
- September – October
- November December
Beneficiaries
“Thessaly & Evros Pass 2024” has no income criteria, while the following categories of citizens are eligible to apply:
- Tax residents in Greece based on the last approved personal income tax return for the 2022 tax year.
- Those who do not have themselves or their beneficiaries as their principal residence in the selected locations, appearing from the last cleared personal income tax return for the 2022 tax year.
- Non-beneficiaries under the Community Tourism Scheme during the period 2023-2024.
“Thessaly & Evros Pass 2024” is implemented by the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE SA – GRNET), an organization of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
