Three “eras” of the new democracy…

The pro-Russian concerns of the united (Syriza and far-right) opposition were expressed by the ideological leader M. Voritis equalized. Famellos, Apostolakis and Velopoulos accused the Prime Minister of outright treason for giving ammunition to Ukraine and weakening Greece’s defenses!

It was his long-awaited occasion for a minister of state to give a detailed response to government positions that clearly cause confusion in many sides of the political system.

Voritis made them with onions …

Combining subtle irony with his well-known rhetorical skills, he forced the prime minister to backtrack on his accusations in an erratic manner.

To “confirm” the charge of extreme treason, a favorite method of the left-extreme-right opposition parties… cut and sew was used. A phrase from Mitsotakis was isolated from an interview he gave to an American media outlet, in which he stressed the need to discuss gaps in European security while referring to Europe’s support for Ukraine.

The prime minister had nothing to say about gaps in Greece’s defense capabilities. He talked about Europe in his interview. But Voritis, Admiral Apostolakis and K. Velopoulos took Mitsotakis’s proposal arbitrarily and developed their…problem, if the Prime Minister is “stupid or incompetent”! They were worried about the prime minister’s intellectual capacity because they considered him a “slave” to American interests. Therefore, he was charged with “high treason”. Finally, accused Velopoulos swallowed his tongue.

The clear and active choice of K. Mitsotakis to position himself on the European front in favor of Ukraine, while at the same time occupying a key position next to the United States clearly creates a lot of reaction and negativity. The implications of the clear warning to the Prime Minister by A. Samaras and K. Karamanlis, expressing their objection to Putin’s collusion with US opinion against Russia, have not yet faded.

It goes without saying that aggressive criticism against the government is meant to avoid exposing critics. Mitsotaki’s position alters a multidimensional foreign policy and exposes Greece more to Russia. And Velopoulos’ “solution” calls for peace and…love and for Ukraine to be forced to accept its territorial losses and thus agree to end the war.

The Georgiadis-Voridis-Pleuris trio, from the moment they were included in the new democracy, were not accepted by the entire sect, although they made a considerable and significant contribution to the ideological conflicts and the preservation of the government.

Correct Comment All three have sharp words. The funny thing is that those who define themselves as the “true” right wing of the sect “look in the mirror” with them.

But observing the new democracy objectively, every honest person finds that the prime minister has no better protection and support than when he carried three “citizens”!
